When I began making surgical caps in 1972, the idea was to bring some color into the operating room where I worked. Staff members all wore the same drab “OR Green,” and at first I was reluctant to stray too far from the existing color scheme, so as not to offend the traditionalists. However, as time went on, my colleagues insisted on brighter, more distinctive designs, and I happily accommodated their tastes. It wasn’t long before my caps were appearing on the heads of doctors and nurses in other departments - and even on patients! |
Today, Surgicap.com is the place to find unique surgical caps. From its beginning as a hobby, SurgiCap.com continues to grow as a business, and we’re still dedicated to what has brought us success for 30 years - color, comfort, and affordability.
